      Here at QSSC, service is all we care. All server parts (barebone system) come with a warranty against manufacturer defect or failure for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase. . This warranty covers replacement or repair of the product, which is determined by availability, the time of purchased. Replacement is often used within 30 days after purchase with the same product or like product when direct replacement is unavailable. Repair is necessary for items purchased more than 30 days ago.

      In order to return any item for repair, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number must be assigned by QSSC. Customers need to provide the following information, before an RMA will be issued:

      Product model
      Quantity
      Serial number
      Defect description
      Customer name
      Contact person
      Email address or telephone number
      Shipping address

    The description of the defect needs to be clear and complete in order for QSSC to address the problem according to customer expectations. Without a clear description, QSSC can only provide a basic test of the returned products.

 
    DOA period –Cross Ship Service
 
    System Level

A new replacement is often used within 30 days after purchase with the same product or like product. For DOA warranty replacements, QSSC will ship you the brand new unit the next day with the same shipping method you had. Customers are required to send back the unit in 7 days after acquiring RMA number. QSSC is responsible for the cost of shipping to customer. And customers pay shipping charges for returning. However, if no trouble found (NTF) after inspected by our technician, we will return the unit back to customer. Please note that customer will have the responsibility to accept the replacement and NTF unit with invoice charge.

    Component Level

If customers find problems in parts within 30 days, our service center will cross ship the brand new parts to you by the same shipping method you had on your invoice. Upgraded shipping service is available at additional cost. Cross Ship is available one year from the invoice date.
Remark
The warranty does not cover NON-WARRANTY DAMAGE which is any issue with the unit that is beyond a functional failure such as scratches, cracks, smudge marks, liquid damage, and other forms of physical damage.

 
    RMA Period
 
    QSSC provides 3 years warranty against barebone server systems purchased from authorized distributors. For RMA request, please refer to the following procedure.
    For the first year: ---Cross Ship Service

1.Obtain RMA number from QSSC service center (contact info as above) Please describe your problem in details to help us facilitate the process
2.Mark your RMA number on the outside of the box. It may be returned if you don’t have a visible number on the box.
3.Ship the unit back in 10 days after getting the RMA number.
4.A replacement will send back to you by FedEx 3-day service. Shipping upgrade is available at customer's cost.

Cross-Ship is subject to credit card authorization on reseller level. Cross-Ship service is limited to one year from the invoice date. Please specify cross ship service when needed. However, we strongly recommend you not to abuse the system so that we can maintain our service cost low and add on the value to our customers

    For the 2nd and 3rd year

1.Obtain RMA number from QSSC service center (contact info as above) Please describe your problem in details to help us facilitate the process
2.Mark your RMA number on the outside of the box. It may be returned if you don’t have a visible number on the box.
3.Ship the unit back in 3 days from getting the RMA number
4.After receiving the RMA parts, we will repair it and send back in 5 days.
5.If we can’t finish the repair, a replacement will send to you on the day of 6th.
6.QSSC reserves the right to use the most economical shipping method available.

 
    Out of warranty period
 

Repair cost will vary based on the type of product and the repairs required. QSSC will issue an estimate after diagnosing the problem. QSSC cannot guarantee repair of any products, due to limited availability of replacement components. If repair components are not available, QSSC will suggest equivalent products for purchase and offer special pricing.

    Warranty Forfeiture

Warranty is void if serial tags, receiving numbers, product stickers, or manufacturer seals have been removed, altered or tampered with. Warranty is also void if mishandling, improper use, or defacing of the product. Products damaged due to improper or inadequate packaging when returned are not granted the coverage.
